Season 33 was the most succesfull season in the history of our team, although we only had 1 win (day 1 in Landeck). The total number of points was higher then ever before despite a disappointing Nederlandse Tour. Specialising in allroundraces did pay off with a lot of results and several times more then 1 rider in the top-9 of a race.
After more then 10 seasons we will say goodbye to Monroe and welcome Yefim Suprunov who's currently trained by Tashkent Browncoats. He has the potentials to be a great LO1/Windbreaker and is the perfect rider to replace Monroe in our Lead Out train. We have high expectations of him and hope he can be the next National Champion of Uzbekistan in the near future.
Sitting on the edge between Top Division and Zyte makes it hard to make specific plans, but we'll try to get into Cymru and Nederlandse Tour this season. Although the last topform period wasn't a real succes we hope to enter Cymru with Albert Hakkila in topform. As a teammate he scored a result there 2 seasons ago, so it should be possible to do well there as a captain in topform. Whether he will be TT-centered or not is still unclear.
Looking forward to season 34 and wishing all my OCM-friends the best and a lot of fun!
Edit: My PR-manager should be fired as he's not capable of writing a correct press release. Why some vital sentences are left out is a complete mystery.
